It's going to be people like you who will make it impossible for this product to get made. People have been waiting since October for this product to get made and now we finally have the chance to make that happen. Who gives a ____ if you have to pay now then get the product in 2-3 months. I put $4000 down on my tC and made 2 months payment, 7 weeks before I even got the see the car. Quit crying and just pay the money, you made a commitment and the procedure was explained perfectly. By signing up for the list, you technically made a contract.

Also, if you think a whopping $50 is a big risk for, look at what PlayinWithFire has gone through to get this product out there for the community. He went out and bought a set of OEM mirrors, just for APR to do the R & D. That's money out of his pocket, not yours. Plus all the time he spent contacting APR to get everything organized. And for no reason at all, I decided to help him out by taking over the thread, just to lighten the load on his end. So don't give me or anyone else here crap about 'waiting'.

 

alright carbonxe. i've been on this site for years. but if your gonna be like that so be it... enjoy your product. i'll pass on this one.

I'm not being like anything, I'm stating a fact. You signed an agreement which clearly described everything about the product. Now that the time has come for you to pay, you've decided that you didn't read what you signed up for. I still don't see the big deal about having to wait for the product. If it falls through, you will get your money back, it's that simple. PWF is going to be giving out his address for local pick-ups, I highly doubt he's going to bail on this project when thousands of people have access to finding him. Plus, APR is a well established company. This isn't some big step in production for them, they already make mirrors for other vehicles and they just need to be proven that the demand is out there. So you can pay now, receive in 2-3 months. Or wait until they're made (which could very well be never if we don't get this off the ground), then pay, then receive in about 6-8 months.

 

Actually, I signed up for the original project months ago under the terms that I would pay when the product was ready, along with the 90something other people. I am only just finding out that this is another Umnitza deal, so count me out. My money will be good if there is a finished product, but not before then. I will be shocked if you can get 50 people to pay up based solely on a promise from a company we don't really know anything about.

 

your saying the exact same thing as the issue with umnitza. people have waited and gave money. did they get refunded? NO. local pick up will be for those who are local. not everyone will have the same luck. and i really dont have the time to wait months for this. i first thought it would be shipped the time of order so i would rather wait 6-8 months when its available and ready then take my chances and wait months for it. me being the case since i wont be anywhere around home for training. i wont have the time to install if i actually get it or call for complaints). it doesnt really matter if the guy bails or not. look at umnitza he lives close to plenty of his customers and hasnt bailed even tho he owes money to plenty people.

 

That's ok guys. I may order extras if I have the financial freedom to. In the case that stuff does fall through, I will pay you all back. I am paying with these using my bank card to make the transaction as safe and "retrievable" just in case things do go sour.

I am sorry that you guys are opting out, but I do understand where you are coming from. I am sorry I couldn't sway you to trust me and the company. The president of my car club talked to KC who is the head of APR about taking car of us and making things go as smoothly as possible

thanks playin... i trust u very much... i trust APR also but u know companies, they make mistakes just like umnitza. not calling APR untrustworthy. wish u werent caught up on this fire but glad your being a good delegate for APR.

and ps like alex said all of this is going through paypal and this isnt like the umnitza deal. for umnitza that asked for the money FOR R&D, this company already has the R&D done, they just want to see the demand for a product. and from what i hear, the only people that will get this product are the ones on the list. so its either now or never. but either way if the product isnt made then you will get your $50 back.
