how difficult is it to install it yourself? Would you recommend getting it done at the shop? If we drive our tC there, can you guys do it and for how much? Oooh.....this is just sooo hot! Please come this Sunday, I gotta see it!

 

everything on this trunk is pretty much bolt on...except u need a window specialist to re install the oem glass back on... other than that its pretty easy

 

i dunno if this has been asked but dude how much weight savings does it have?

 

seriuosly the trunks weighs at about 15lbs, plus the window another 15lbs...plus all the oem factory peices, it weighs in at a very light weight of 35lbs, the stock one is over 50lbs...

and may i add you get a very cool lookin integrated spoiler on our trunk...

 

very nice looking but that just killed it for me. sorry. i understand its unavoidable.

 

The only thing I would worry about is the fragility. I have to be careful with the hood not to slam.

hmmmm. Looks awesome and would look SO BEA-U-TI-FUL on my baby!

 

the shocks still work well, and the OEM glass doubles as added structure to the peice...over all it great, should not have to worry bout slammin it, the shocks will still do their job...

 

Though I'm late, the trunk came out pretty sick.

Trunk looks good. Altough, the center peice does look strange. It'd work on a black car.

I have the BCP tC... that trunk looks weird with the non-carbon fiber bit in the back... where is the carbon fiber hood?!? i'm interested in one of those

 

it looks good on all colors IMO

 

bbist sells it without the lip..just OEM CF trunk...its been out for a few months already.

 

fiber fx also makes a cf hood for the tC
