I was just wondering what everyone's opinion on vinyl graphics on cars was? Is it too fast and furious? Is it risky having it look nice and would only look well with simple graphics?

I'm a graphic designer by trade and have thought about it in the past, but whatever graphics that were to made would have to be top notch for sure.

Also, please post any pictures you may have of Tc's with graphics.

 

i was thinking about a graphic because i got keyed from my sidemirror to my gastank so if you want to sponser me 1 with a nice design i wouldnt mind LOL

 

haha what kind of design did you have in mind? i wouldn't mind actually doing some for some people if they were interested.

Yes, it can be over done. However, Just the right touch can send a "off the shelf" car in to something that tastefully stands out. The term "Rice" is used far too often. Sometimes it is warranted, sometimes it's used to cover the fact that someone doesn't have the money to do anything but put gas in their stock car.

 

i know what youre saying, but IMO i like the clean look. graphics are too busy to me and look cheazey

Well that's what I was saying about something subtle. Not necessarily the double stripe down the middle but something to that effect. Just a big shape or 2 somewhere.

What about manufacturer stickers? I'm against those but see those a lot more then alternative graphics.

 

yeah unless youre sponsored by the manufacturer i personally dont see why people put the stickers on

 

graphics are okay as long as they arent tackey. I have vinyl on my car and get lots of compliments
