body kits and lip kits . . .

i assume there are regional differences in price but how much did shops charge you for installation including paint ?

when I had my RS1 front lip painted/installed.. my bodyshop charged 300 but I was given an estimate of 150. -_-

 

only the front lip ? interesting. it feels high but i can't tell at this early stage.

did that include paint, assuming paint was needed ?

 

anywhere from 300 to 400 at the dealer.. you would have to call around your local shops for prices but you are seriously better off Doing It Yourself...

 

It will vary... a LOT. Depends on shop, area, type of kit, quality of kit, material, etc. There is no way to give a real estimate.

alot of people would be willing to do it for pizza and beer.

its not hard at all.
just get it painted and install it yourself. body shop is gonna charge you too much to do it.

 

pizza and beer FTW...........really get together with your local group and I am sure there are people willing to help......plus you get to meet new people with the same interests as you and have soem fun doing an install.

sorry for the oversight above... the 300.00 mentioned for the RS1 lip install included paint.

since i don't have much experience around vehicles, i'll have to look around and possibly see if there is anyone in NYC area able/willing to help.
