those californians with the name blizzard probably dont' know how to even drive in blizzards.
yes if your blades freeze to your window and you turn on the wipers the blades seperate and get ruined. so leaving them up is much easier

Seriously though, be safe in it, you guys are getting pounded on today. So is Chicago and Milwaukee from what I hear.
We got about 15 inches the first two days it snowed this year back in late Nov/Early Dec... I havent seen my yard since

You know.... those Bosch Icon (or similar ones from other companies) wiper blades work like a charm in the snow. I have them on the 4Runner and the tC. Of course, you still have to watch for them freezing to the windshield (except not as often here, since it has only been above freezing 3-4 days total since Nov.. so most of the snow is powder) but they dont get clogged up with snow and stop conforming like typical blades do. I drove in white out conditions for and entire day the weekend before christmas in our 4Runner on our way to visit OK for the holiday. Hit that nasty snow storm the whole way. While every other car still on the road was stopping to clean out their wipers every 5 - 10 miles, I never had to worry about it. Pretty nice to have!
