Well, i took it out for a drive, and the cutoff was pretty bad, seemed to be blinding people. so i parked my car in a parking lot and stood 20-30 feet away to the side of my car and the light was quite blinding. So i took out the headlights and when i get time, ill fix the cut-off, especially since i know how the cut-off needs to be adjusted. Thanks for the advice guys, and the kind words .

You should post pics of fixing the cut off.

The cutoff is supposed to angle up on the passenger side, to illuminate road signs. The projectors on my BMW were like that. I'd be more concerned about the high side on the driver's side, because that's what will really blind people...

Hey Robb,
Doesnt that cutoff on the passenger side blind ppl that are driving ahead of me on the right side? cuz i stood in front of my car on the right side, where people would be driving, and i was blinded by the light. So i figured that if a car was there, they would get blinded too. is my thinking flawed?

Wow I have the same cut off....I don't feel alone anymore hahhahah. The right side is fine for me but the driver side is WAY too low...I can't see crap on the left... And if I recall...correctly you said you don't care about blinding peeps on the road....I guess you're different on messenger LOL AHHAHHA.....

hahaha...good call nephi. well, i didnt care before cuz i was thinking it wasnt THAT blinding...but after i looked into the glare myself, i could barely see anything else for a while. That and i was lighting up buildings to the right quite well, wanted to avoid that too..hehe. I'll eventually fix the cut-offs and post pics. if anyone else fixes the cut-offs before me, feel free to let us all know, and take pics .

i think its cuz they dont quite mount correctly onto the car. The headlight housing becomes tilted, thus rotating the cut-off plates. I think the intended cut-off is close to what the passenger side looks like in my cut-off pic, except that it shouldnt be allowed to go so high up on the right side.
Here's what I think is happening:

You'll blind the people on your front right, who is driving at the same trafic side that you're. Look at the right side of your cutoffs, they incline significantly, even when you're car is that close to the wall. I would not like to drive in front of you. Also, the left of your driver side cutoff inclines upward, which mean you'll blind the opposite traffic as well. Sorry to give you so many criticisms, but this is bad. If you like HID, open your headlights and create a new shield for your cutoffs. Go to home depot and buy some metal plate. Good luck

Nice halos though

Hey all,
Thanks for the props MrScion .

I wish i had the time to do this mod for others Hypnotic and JLevi, but im working full time and going to graduate school, so i havent even had time to fix my cut-off yet, otherwise you would have seen pics of the fix already...hehe.

Hey Noodle, I have already taken the car for a spin with the bad cut-offs, I got some stares...haha. I have already taken them off and are running my stock ones, with HID (they actually dont look too bad stock with HID. The pattern looks pretty decent, and it doesnt seem to be blinding people). I am planning on fixing the cut-off by adding a metal shield to adjust the cut-off.

Thanks for the comments everyone .

Looking at it again, The cutoff on the passengers side angle is a bit steep. If it was a bit flatter it would be better.
