Ok so plenty of you know that i have my share in upper badgeless grills. Ever since the idea came up to put a lower grill to the top grill has been i great mod of mine. So i started and made my own lower grill to upper grill mod and it turned out lovely!



Then i got bored of it and made a never version... Version 2 badgeless upper grill. I love the way it looks sinc it utilizes oem bumper latches and took alot of time to making the molds fit.




And now my final version that will not be going into my car but did it for a local friend. Probably the hardest and most time consuming badgeless grill i've done. Hard!?! Because its 3 parts. the OEM upper (clips onto the bumper) trim, an oem lower grill, and oem Chrome trim upper painted matte black. Enjoy!

did you just use the stock upper grille frame?but how is it attached?

ok i got it now... just cut out the piece from lower grille to fill in for where the badge is, right?

 

for version 2, everything is original. i just cut out the emblem portion and welded on some honeycomb piece to it. attachs just like oem.

 

where did you cut it at? the corners ? and what did you use to glue them together

looks like you took a hot knife and cut out a piece from a bottom grill and melted it unto the top grill and filed down the melted area?

looks clean.

 

yeah, the 2nd version 2nd pic isnt the one on my car and its pretty noticeable. but the one on my car was great to me.
