Default Daytime Running Lamps

Does anyone know if they sell blue bulbs to replace the daytime running lamps on the tC? And if so where I can order some.

Default DRL

What are the small bulbs in the bottom of the headlights that come on when you turn the parking lights on?

i have to add that their LEDs are not meant to be used in headlight housings... they have a warning on their site, and some people ignore them until they burn up..... they will work.. but they'll burn up from the heat eventually..

hey beezyyy... since you're living in SoCal... i recommend taking a trip to Super Autobacs. you need to visit that store at least once. you can find wedge bulbs there... but also doing a google search can result in multiple online stores that have them. i think are are LED ones more meant for headlight housing use, but i dunno..

but yeah... check out super autobacs... it's worth the trip... great if you have a group of friends or something... have a nice get together there... and then maybe eat some hawaiian BBQ

Default Not LED

Do they sell bulbs that are just tinted blue instead of having to use the LED's then?

hey man, yeah the bubls in the upper right/left of your headlight, with the orance lense over them are 194's as well as the bulb u see in the headlight its self. you can basicly get any color you want to replace them, i myself have red, if you have a napa or an autozone or any of those car places should sell them..if all else fails..pull out out and go ask the guy at the counter. now they will say, y ou cant have these in while driving bla bla bla, just nod your head and go with im lol

Default Bulbs

Sweet I am going to hit up the Auto Zone when I get off work today and see what I can find. I have the Xenon Headlights ordered as well. I just think it would look bad ___ with the small tint of blue when you turn on the parking light.

^^AutoZone sells them. That's where I got my green ones from. They are called "Blazer Xtreme lights". $2.99 a 2-pack. I've had mine about 9 months with no problems. I also have white ones for the rear license plate. From what I've been hearing about the LEDs burning out, this is a great product for the $$$ you pay.

Since HID's put out less heat, do you think they will still melt?

Default LED's

I do think LED's would probably look better but I am worried that they will burn out. I am going to just try to find some bulbs that are coated instead of painted on if that makes any sense. I am sure these will last a little while but I don't want to have to spend $3 every time the paint melts off.

PIAA sells bulbs and LEDs made for purposes such as this. I ordered what I thought were blue bulbs but are really plasma so I'm going to buy a set of blue LEDs instead.

leds won't low beam reflector as much because of the narrow light pattern whereas a regular 194 bulb lights up on all sides.
