Decision
I was just trying to get some opinions. I ordered my 06 Flint Mica tC last week and I am impatient as everyone else who has ordered one probably was. I live in Tennessee which yeah is a long way from California were the car finally ports when it comes from Japan. I was wondering if anyone possibly knew about how long it will take for the car to get here? The dealership is trying to find another dealership to trade a BSP that they will be getting soon for the FM if they can't work that out then I will just have to wait until they ship the FM from Japan. I really like the FM but the Black is nice too. So my question is should I go ahead and take the BSP which should be at the dealership in the next few days or wait the six or more weeks until the FM comes in?
Do what you will. Either way, the dealer will probably try to find one, but most dealers don't like to look out of a certain range because then it becomes cost deficcient. Your best bet is to go to scion.com, do a search of dealers within 50 miles, then call each location and ask about their stock. I did that all day looking for an Azure Pearl 5-sp tC. I searched all of Wisconsin and Illinois for one. Then I rested with a FM that a dealer had.
NO dont get bsp i dont like other ppl driving the same car as me
i would hold out for fm if its what you realy like i know its a nice color and you dont see many of them on the road so it will draw alot of attention either way do what you will just as the red vs blue fan up there ^ said

I never got this. If BSP is your only choice, then I'd stay with that. You are going to be with this car for the next...5 or so years? Now if FM is your secondary choice then you have a debockle on your hands. It was funny because when I was going to order my car at the dealership. That morning they got a IIP with pedestal spolier in, but it was automatic and I wanted a manual. The sales man wanted me to buy that one, however I opted not to. When I was walking out he said "You know, probably 90 percent of people would have settled for that car" I told him that I'd rather wait and have something that I truely want then settle and only half want it.
Anyway, to sum it up. Do you want to pay 17K for something you are ok with. Or pay 17K for something that you are 100 percent happy with. The choice is yours, I hope I helped a little

You'll love BSP just as much as FM... they are both GREAT colors...
BUT, you will also love your wash mitt if you get BSP... so take that into consideration

I have fm and sometimes i wish i had bsp. but also, when i see how durty bsp looks when its not maintained and when it has scratches, Im ha[[y i have fm, cuz its always shinhy. def not IIP and Black cherry is cool, but is for older ppl it seems. Black is cool at night, but if not maintained can lookgross. White, which also needs maintaining but is really nice shuld only driven by hot chicks, which leaves you down to FM and silver. Those are prolly the 2 best colors and silver, u hardly see any scratches. This is all personal opinion.

Yo, what part of TN are you in. We are in Nashville, and my boy Clayton is in Franklin. Maybe we can hook up after you get your FM. By the way, go FM, cause we have BSP (and want to be the only modded BSP...lol).
well, if you really want the FM, then go with that or you will regret it trust me. i have always wanted a SW tC, but because it would take three weeks to get one, and they had a BSP when i went into the dealer... my dad made me purchase that one. i still think about how life would be if i had a SW tC
... so think about what you want. i am now in the process of gathering parts for the cars exterior, so in the summer i am going to be doing a full repaint.. i will either paint it super white, or a dark dark green... with alot of clear. just remember, this is YOUR car, that you will most likely have for a long time, so if you are impatient about it, then you wont get what you want. just think, whats a month of waiting for that dream car of yours, hopefully you will have years with it, so make sure you get what you want. i know i sound repetative, but i dont want you, or anyone else making the mistake my dad made for me. i now have to pay for a color i dont like, and then again i have to drop another 3 grand to get it painted
