Just need to make sure you have the right offset. My rims dont have a ton of dish, but they are still a wide wheel for a fwd car, lol. Oh yeah, and Im lowered 2" in the back.

What offset?

But with my TEINS, they don't rub at all, unless I have passengers in the back. The puurrfect offset in the rear(+40). I'm running a 215/35-19 for that "stretched" look.
what width rim in rear... and whats the front offset?

+40 for the rears. I have the same wheels as Alex (bluebox) as posted above, just bigger tires...

why are the back rims always wider? What does that do? Is getting them all the same size wrong?

it's called the "staggered" look. it was made popular by rwd cars. obviously wider wheel/tire in back equals better traction. well, fwd or not, some ppl like the look and do it for aesthetic purposes only. i must say, i'm diggin' it.

You should be fine with 18X8" Front with a +35mm offset and the 18X9" Rear will need anywhere between +35mm and +38mm I would say to clear with no rubbing.

a guy at wheelsnext said they tried 19X8.5 w/38 offset all the way around on the tC and it will work without rubbing..not sure if this is true or if he was just trying to make a sale...he said "you can do wonders" with wheels on the tC..they've put 9.5 on the rear without rubbing as well..though he didn't mention the offset on the 9.5....

I've always liked the BBS RS-GT in diamond black... i gotta go with forged wheels since NYC/NJ area might as well be a section of Bosnia with all the damn potholes we have....

anyone know if those PIAAs forged?

i wanted the mod 7's in black. i love them. who cares who has them. most of the people around here cant afford rims or have no taste at all if they do buy rims anyways....so i dont have to worry about anybody having them
