Default Delta Eye Lids vs. BlueBatMobile Eye Lids

I was debating between two types of eye lids and I wanted to get your suggestion.

Well I was first going to get BlueBatMobile but then I came across this by delta with a little bit of searching.

http://shop-delta.com/NewWeb/Catalog...opEyeLids.html

Delta's Eye Lids
- 1 layer of fiber flex
- can come painted to match my stock tc color
- look good

www.shop-delta.com

And here is BlueBatMobiles eye lids
http://s2.photobucket.com/albums/y42...ent=tch1d5.jpg

BlueBatMobile Eye Lids
- vinyl
- cheaper
- does not quite matches my color but also look good.

www.bluebatmobile.net

Long story short, both look well, Deltas has more work and quality into it, but bluebatmobiles are cheaper.

What do you guys think?

the delta's look nice but pricey. questionable on the thickness and paint match on an FM. But still look good.

Hmmm for white they may be my solution cause I am so horrible with vinyls ...and I do question the thickness as well.

Delta:
#1 Pricey
#2 If some punk would peel the eyelids off, you'd be
#3 Durable??
#4 May notice its thickness and will be odd-looking

BlueBat:
#1 Cheap
#2 If some punk would peel the eyelids off, you'd still be :D because it's not that harsh on the budget.
#3 If a small rock hits the eyelids, it would be ugly looking. You can just buy another set... It's cheaper. :D
#4 Lays flat on the headlight

Too rich for my blood. I'm not paying $70 for something like that - when I can get CF for that price too.

I've had Bat's eyelids for probably a year and a half and have had zero complaints or issues.

The eye lids I have are very thin. They are as thin as a cd if not just a bit thinner. And trust me.

A cd thickness is pretty thick compared to Bats, I'll stick with bat for a number of reasons.

^^^ack...your eyelids look different than mine.. mine lined up with the hood. Anyway just to add to what others are saying. The deltas may be the way to go depending on the color of your car. Bats silver matches just about perfectly, but I have seen the FM which was ok.. not great. Also people mentioned if a rock hit your vinyl you would have to get new ones.... well now you just payed almost the same as if you were to get the Deltas. Either way both good products which seem to be sweeping SL.

Mine were an early version. He does have ones to line up with the hood now, I just never bothered to switch. And in the 1.5 yrs + that I've had them, not a single rock chip or mark on them. Of course... not "yet" anyways.

They go in spurts I think... whenever someone posts something up of interest it kind of wakes up other people about them. I do still love mine though. I notice other tCs around here that don't have them (I think someone around here has smoked eyelids though) and they look funny to me now.
