Sorry on the holdup there people but if anybody can remember. Some time ago I started redoing my car. Now I'm near finishing it. Here are the updates!

First I started sanding it down to da bone...... bone dry...

Then a few mist coats of my Indian Copper Red

Finally finished with the red

Then I was laying down the outline to mask off the red.

You can see the stripes.

Skip a few pics because I left them at the shop...

Here is the body

Its Indian Copper Red by R+M and Ice Age White also by R+M

Keep in mind I didn't wet sand it yet and wont do it till probably tomorrow evening. Thats why it looks wavy and not too glossy.

For anybody who does not know where I'm going with this here is a photoshop I made last month.

Any opinions? I know it might not be some peoples taste but its what I like

i like it so far, but i dont think you should do the entire rear bumper that colour, do a line like the rest of the car, or just dont do it, i like the first ps, witht he rear left alone.

Yeah, I agree that it looks good in the first PS pic, but the rear not so great looking in the second. Keep up the good work.

love the hood, the lines of the scoop play really well with the lines already on the hood that run to the headlights.

the white paint needs tweeked just a little.

All the lines on the side and front lip are horizontal and following the shape of the back bumper has a 45 degree angle.

maybe try a photo shop of it with a horizontal line on the back bumper to tie it all together.

or tell me to go paint my own car

sweet ride! looks like you are taking a quality route instead of half a$$ing it like some have done.

I'm still debating on selling it since everybody who has wanted it hasn't been serious about the buy. Rite now I will not be selling them unless I do get a serious by then I will think about it. Because since its a fresh paint job, Using that hood to make a replica will damage the paint job either way no matter how careful I am. either tape lines, or fg marks or scratches. But I will make one on top of anybody's existing hood for sure if they are serious... Anyways thats a different topic.

GO paint your own car.... lol jk

Yeah that hood looks wicked tight! That is exactly the design ive been waiting for. There should be an option for a cf version too. If it does come out for everyone to buy....good prices aka cheap would be nice LOL!

hood looks hot!!... if the scoop was slightly more low profile, it would be searing burning hot.
IMO the lower the scoop, the more attractive

i agree that you should continue the white line accent to the back bumper also. if you didn't, from the back it looks like you didn't get around to painting the entire back piece. but it would look good if the theme was carried throughout the car.

Lookin' pretty damn good so far. I agree with the others about the rear bumper, a touch of white will look much better than all white.
