Default dent

hey i have a dent/scratch about a foot, starting from the rear tire towards the right passenger door on the "quarter panel", u cant see it if ur not looking for it, but its definetley there, i want to know should i take it to a toyota dealership or should i go to a body shop, looks like u cud just pop it out, and do some sanding and paint it, but would the whole car have to get painted again. i will post a pic tommorow, but let me know i wanna go get some estimates

try to find one of those paintless dent repair shops. if its on the rear panel they can pop it out professionally from behind without painting. prices should range from $50 to $200 depending on size. thats alot cheaper than paint alone if u to a body shop.

Is it on the body line around the rear wheel? If it is, you are screwed. My car has a little dent right on the curve from being in the showroom, and they tried to fix it and the guy couldn't get it out. I even had a second opinion on it...it's in the worst spot possible.

Dent Wizard

I've got a dent next to my gas tank, not big, but its there, and noticeable... its 160, plus $40 because they have to pull off some of the interior to get at it, because they cant just reach underneath the car and do their magic.

i think it takes a person with skill but it can be done. there is a guy that does it around my area and he has pics posted on his site of dents in the cars body lines that he has fixed. it takes more time and money but it can be done. he's even popped out HUGE dents from plastic bumpers.
