I changed out my grill this weekend with some diamond mesh stuff I found at Lowes for about $7.

I wasn't really feelin it at first, but everybody has been askin me about it so I guess I'll keep it for a while. The pics are a little out of date ( I cleaned up the grill a lot more and added some parts), but you get the idea.

Now Im just waiting on these springs to come in.

Hm... I'm not feeling it as much as some of them mesh grilles I've seen, but it's not bad for a DIY.

I'm just not a huge fan of mesh grilles in general though. Too much rice associated with them.

 

It looks out of place to me. I have no problem with the stock grill so go me! Anyway, edit your original post so people won't complain about the images not showing up.

yes but paint it with something that wont chip...

i used rustoleum, 3 coats of black, and 2 coats of clear didnt cut the mustard for me.

probably like a caliper, engine block, or high heat paint will do the trick
