Default DIY angel eyes

heres a link ive a had for a couple years for DIY bmw style angel eyes. not too bad looking and much much cheaper. sorry if this has been posted before.

Interesting... but seems like ALOT of work for what you can buy from Umnitza that'll be a ton brighter.

HAH! Read the forum, the guy has all those pics and then some other guys uses it for ebay. I dont under stand the language so Im not sure if hes ____ed. Read the post where he said something about ebay.

-ontopic. Very nice write up. Still scared to bake the lights. Im just gonna stay normal for now I guess.

the bmw ones are way more high tech im sure,but thats a cheap little imitation to do when youre bored.

the bmw are basically the same thing, instead of leds it uses a fiber optic cable with a bulb feeding it on the other end. both are no where as bright as a CCFL ring. but for less than $10 you can't complain. put some white reflective tape behind the acrylic ring and it'll be more brighter.

Not gonna follow that link cause I am at work... but I THINK I have seen it before... Guy mad some for his Honda CRX... out of those hexagon or octagonal plastic rods from window shades.... then he heated them, bent it, notched them, etc...

If this IS the one I am thinking of... they are crap. They might look good at the start, but the head in the headlight housing is too much for the plastic rods, and they bend and warp then look like poop.

ya thats the one. i could see how they would turn to crap after a while, but then again i wouldnt expect grade A quality for something that costs 10 bucks to make. u bring up a good point for anyone that is interested though. theres probably better material to make the halos out of.
