Default DIY grill idea for my '10

I'd like a naked grill (and a naked girl) on the car. I dig the current one I just dont want the emblem there, so I've been thinking. If I could make the (-SCION-) go away, I'd probably like the end result.

It'd be this

Name: GrillIdeaA.jpg
Views: 50
Size: 34.8 KB

and changed to this (after a quick few seconds with MS Paint)

The center would be symmetrical, and no Mickey Mouses either.

What do ya'll think?

Oh, and ignore the top of a miserably bulky plate holder. My old plates were shortened to go on my Jeep bumper. In May when new stickers come I'll put them on another brand new set of the same plates I have and a minimalist plate holder. Virginia sucks for wanting a crisp, clean front end.
There's also a small part of me that wants to put a Knight Rider light on the front too LOL. I've resisted the temptation so far to do that.

I think it would look cleaner without the emblem but it might be more difficult with that type of grille. With the 05-07 tCs, people would make a new upper badgeless grille out of an OEM lower grille. Usually turned out pretty nice and the patterns matched upper and lower.

With these newer ones it would be more difficult to do that.

IMO I think it would look kinda ghetto and sloppy like that.

i think it'd be too difficult to try and modify a stock grille to make it look like that..
almost impossible.

I have access to a friend with a laser table. The benefits of being associated with the offroad community :D

So, the "How" isnt my concern. It was just about the overall look.

I guess if I'm gonna make something from scratch, I might as well go 100% original.
