I was wondering if i really need to take off my front bumper all the way off so i can take my headlamps out, so i can align my projectors.

if not that would be really great, easier to do too because im so low.

(i didnt have to take my back bumper all the way off to change my tails, so i was hoping it was the same for the headlamps.)

u dont need to take off the bumper the adjust the beam. Your owners manual tells you how to do it.

 

i know that, but that was not the question, the question was,

 

if ur trying to adjust the beams, no

if u want to take off the headlights off the car, yes

 

Why would you take the head lights out to adjust the beams.

WTH ? I'm pretty sure you don't have to take your REAR bumper to r+r your tail lights.

 

You don't have to take it all the way off. I didn't when I took my lights out to paint them.

 

Want to try replacing your tails without taking off the bumper or partially taking it off then?

Well.... you can just undo the top connectors and those in the wheel wells, leaving just the splash guards connected...

But its easier to line back up properly if you take it all the way off. Just put a 10mm socket on a Skewdriver shoved in a drill and its a 5 min job.

 

seriously, lift it up on a jack and take out the 8 or so 10mm bolts. takes 5 minuets, and will make working with your headlights 10x easier....

do it once, do it right. shortcuts lead to breakages

 

i've taken my bumper off about 4 times already... but i really didnt want to again, but i guess i'll just do it.
