I'm looking for this body kit / lip kit gaping tape that is usually color matched to the color of the car and is placed right over the gap to blend it better. Does anybody know where to get this? I think Toyota sells it but I'm not sure.

If I could find out who makes it, buy allot of it, and paint it for people would anybody be interested? Because I was just thinking its not like they come color matched.

 

Well I know most people just use weather strip from home depo or something.

its the molding tape between the kit and the body. It fills in gaps and makes it a perfect fit

 

Home depot? really? hmm... <-- last resort for me but not bad if it works at all.

 

toyota makes it as far as i know.

when you buy their OEM ground effects or the kenstyle kit the molding strips are in a baggy in the box with foam tape already attached to it.
and the lip kit is formed at the edge so that the molding fits in perfect so its even all around.

i think it's called ribbets or something like that but it's the same strip that comes with the GFX and i believe those things come with the obsidian widebody kit for those who don't want to mold it.
