?does anyone know?
if i drive without my valve cover if that will affect my carbon fiber hood..im painting my valve cover and if it is unsafe to drive with it off i won't..please anybody
Without your VALVE COVER?! Might be bad if you don't want to spit oil all over your hood and ruin your engine...
I'm assuming you mean your ENGINE cover... which is just the plastic piece that goes over the valve cover.

I have started a 350 chevy with valve covers bolted on that had the whole top cut out of them :D
Of course, I was adjusting the valves on it, and on a pushrod (non-overhead cam) motor they dont sling oil everywhere :D You can adjust the valves with the engine running.
