does anyone know what causes a scratch like this its one centimeter deep and looks wavy any one know to fix it or how much it would cost to fix it?

 

A tree branch?

 

eh haven't hit a tree branch at least not to my knowledge what about bycycle handle bars

 

maybe you hit something in your garage?

 

My thought - someone walking a bicycle between cars in a parking lot... pedal catches, shifts as it scrapes.

 

that sucks. but if you get it decide to get it properly painted, they're gonna have to repaint the entire part (in this case, the bumper) cause if u don't go all the way across with the paint or clear coat, it'll look uneven in terms of both paint and physical lines..

just had my bumper repainted from an accident- costed about $500 but was covered by the other person's insurance cause she was at fault.

Call some local shops and get a price quote. You never know what you'll find.

 

It does suck 3 years without any major scratches I might be able to do something with filler and touch paint for nowtill I purchase my bigger air compressor
