I haven't seen any door edge guards for the scion except for a piece of crap rubber thing.

Does anyone know of a mod to add door edge guards for the doors? If so give a link. I'm getting sick of people who are parked next to me open their doors and slightly hit my door just enough to where I can tell someone tapped it.

This would be a great idea if a company out there would make some nice door edge guards for the Scion tC.

they come stock like that in Hawaii. i guess you can talk to a Hawaiian Scion dealership.. and they could help you out..

 

why would you want to put something that ugly on your car.The smooth doors makes it stand out from the rest

 

Close but not something that big.. i mean more of the metal type of door edge guards.

yeah.. i met Mario in San Diego when he first moved from Hawaii... that was the first thing i noticed on his car.. i pretty much had mixed feelings about it at first glance... but i like it very much.

it does serve it's purpose.. and makes him stand out from the rest. it looks really clean in person. you'd think it was OEM or something the way that Hawaiian dealership put those on.

Be careful on the ebay auctions...I have tried in vain to get emails answered and pix delivered from the sellers. They are back east, and I'm not dropping almost $200 on something unless the seller is golden.

She got back to me once, and then disappeared...
I got one pic from her, but I asked for close-ups and was promised them the last two weeks.
I was ready to buy, but I'm not feeling comfortable with them.
I've been using eBay for 7 years, with about 600 transactions between my wife and I and only one bad experience.
I use my gut and feedback - this one hasn't convinced me yet.

i think these would look really good on flint mica. i just hope the paint match is close to OE. (they do come painted right?)
