Question driver side door clicking problem :(

so, my driver side door clicks when it opens and closes. i was told its because one of the 'hinges' are cracked. its the plastic one in the middle. i was also told that this hinge tells the computer that the door is either open or closed.. i've checked all over the internet trying to figure out what to call it to see if it can be replaced. so i'm hoping someone has either had this problem before or that they know what i'm taking about!

the hinge is called a "door check". when you open the door look at the "door check" , the part of the hinge that is bolted to the door. it is two 10 mm bolts. sometimes they come loose and makes a "click" sound when opening and closing the door. i would take the nuts that are loos all the off then put some lock tite on the inside of them then re tighten the nuts.
