I'm from jersey but at RIT at the moment otherwise i'd come help. But If you temporarily take off the plastic under the fog light and around the wheel well.. you can pull it down to see under. The wiring harness is a simple plug and play. They pre wired this for TRD fogs but most of the fogs you buy online are meant to adapt as well.

When you take the plastic lining away you should see the harness just chillen there. Its pretty close to the headlight, harness, sitting a little further down under it if I remember correctly.

Hope this helps...

ill take pics when i go home and post them up to see if we can figure this one out...my understanding is just what aparreira9586 said...that i have to wire this seperately through the firewall and dont use the stock wiring that is in the car already! this sucks!

yes that is correct its very straight forward though plug in both ends of actual fogs run wire through firewall plug switch and then i believe there is a ground and maybe a power wire to connect right?

yes!! exactly!! i just went outside and figured it out but testing all the wires with the battery and the ground....now here is a different question.....from the fog lights there is a white wire that plugs into the other harness with a white wire...there is a ground wire that i will ground to the chassis and a power wire that goes to the battery...now on the other harness that plugs into the switch there is also a ground wire and a power wire....where should i install those to?

as a person who was frustrated with the crappy ebay design where they did that.. i cut the damn harness and wired it up myself.. without going thru the firewall.

to an accessory wire.

you did message me, so i assume you saw this thread?
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=151915

this will get you at least to how the factory fogs are supposed to install/work... minus the going thru the firewall crap.
if you want your fogs to turn on without the headlights... that's another thread you can search for.
