well my buddy is a huge fanatic of body work and doin some crazy things..so we were thinkin one day how is 99 eclipse would look with a full tc front end conversion..so its happening now...we threw around a few ideas and what he wanted to do and at frst being a tc owner i was scared and upset that my buddy wanted to tear apart a tc and cut up and do all these things to perfectly good tc aftermrket parts...i know the pics are not the greatest but they will get better as we progress...so this being said this is his plans....

99 eclipse with full body kit lambo doors metallic blue paint job na set-up under hood and a few interior mods...


parts he has for the project..
kaminari front bumper
kaminari side skirts
tc headlights
tc oem hood
tc oem fenders?not sure wut he wants tto use yet
tc vianti fenders
keeping the after market eclipse rear bumper but molding the factory rear lip on the bumper
keeping lambos doors as of now..

so his plan is to have the whole front ended to be tc with a nasty paint job that he is in the process of making with some airbrushing..here are a few pics of the begiing stages of our project...



right now its not lookin to bad i think if everything ges ok it will be a sick conversion...my buddy is really good with body work and works for a body shop so he has experience..
the plan for the paint job is goin to be the front ended painted like raw metal that look slike the paint ha sbeen ripping off as he is driving with air brushing on the hood he has teh scion logo airbrushed also looking like metal...like i said looks lik eit will come out sick he has a few sketches ill see if we can get them on teh comp and ill put them on the thread so you guys can see wut he plans on doing....

since its not my car i dont care wut you guys say but i think it will be a nice clean conversion..and i will keep you updated as we progress in stages..

 

Its definatly differant, i think it will be pretty cool. But if i did any front end conversion it would be a 911 front end

 

yah well the whole thing was teh body shop work sfor kep tgetting kids tat rdered aftermarket stuff for teh tc and they ended up not wanting it so he just took it so he has a crap load of parts for the tc..but i think i might turn out ok

i'd be interested to see what this looks like when its' done. I had a 98 eclipse and loved that car until i totalled it. Luckily I totalled it before it gave me all the problems that the Eclipse is famous for

 

Hey, at least he's trying to turn a Mitsubishi into a Scion. I absolutely HATE Mitsubishi vehicles.

 

The only Mitsubishi I like is the Evo Series...

he hasnt had much problems with his eclipse but i know wut your sayin..

therealben.....i know everyone knocks on scion sayin its teh next honda but to me it seems like everyone wants or adds scion parts to the rides..lol...but wutever..

Also that eclipse is finished and it looks like crap, the one in progress looks worse, but only because they have just started, and no car looks good missing the front clip.

wow im suprised how much everyone is interested in this project...i know obviously it looks like crap now because of the first stage of the project...the first pic is how it looked until about 3 months ago it just looked at it and was unhappy..so we decided to do this....he likes the way the tc front end flows and how mean it looks so we went for it...but i will deff be keeping everyone updated...he also wants some advise or suggestion on wut he should do any ideas are cool.....check out teh classified he want to get ride of teh rear lip now and vianti fenders.....

so let me understand this. Your taking the front end of a tC and putting a back end of an Eclipse? Is the base car going to be the tC or Eclipse? You guys bought a tC and are now cutting parts off it or just bough tC parts and putting them on the Eclipse? Sorry not following this but interesting idea.
