Default EDIT HID/parking light light output

The 08 tCs as we all know have projector headlights, im not too knowledgeable (I so butchered that word lol) but I get the basic points of it. I had HIDs installed the other day, 8ks and im happy how they look with the low beams, but the regular parking lights (just one spin of the light switch)? I dont even know what you call it but the middle bulb, the biggest one is still that amber/yellow color even with the HIDs, it looks pretty weird to me when I have the low beams on and the white/blue lights are on and then the yellow/amber lights of the middle bulb is still glowing, is there any way I can change that? Can that middle bulb be changed as well?

EDIT:

I bought some 194 bulbs from Pep Boys and the power output isnt nearly as much (not at all actually) as the stock yellow bulbs, is there anything I can do? Maybe its the brand of bulb I got?

Change out the bulb for a colored LED.......I used Orange LEds from Autozone or Shucks for like $12.and get superwhites for the high beams.

Is it a basic plug and play? Just remove the old, plug in the new? What size bulbs should I get.

I've heard from several people that LED bulbs are more vulnerable to heat, which they would suffer from being in the headlight housings.... especially mounted next to the high beams.
Has anyone had any good/bad experience with LED bulbs in the driving lamp socket?

I'd really like to replace the stock bulbs in my tC with some nice, bright, white LED bulbs... but I don't want them to burn out in a couple weeks.

Any advice on certain kind to get that would do well with the heat?

i had green LEDs there, and they got melted from the heat in the headlights housing. like the plastic around the bulb literally melted. what i did was got a small 194 bulb from Autozone, like not an LED bulb, but it has that superwhite color, with a slight blue tint and its super bright and looks amazing.

LEDs in my 08 for over a year now and they are still going strong......glow nice and orange.......earlier headlights 05-07 the bulb is int he headlight it self and not in the high beam area and so they tend to go out more........high beams are rarely on so they last a long time.
