NaH- I narrowed it down to both ballasts being faulty. I put two ballasts from another kit and work fine, the bulbs are around 8k now. so apparently the ballasts were even changing the bulb color. I really like their customer service but I think after all the faulty parts and issues I have been having I think its time for a refund and a different kit.

Roller_Toaster-Everybody tells me that it won't light up the road but they do a good job in Las Vegas. and I can see perfectly when driving to and from California in the middle of the night.

SlverPnda-just seems like it's hard to get a 100% fully working kit from any place, every kit seems to have an issue at some point.

cAs-I know every projector headlight isn't meant for HIDs, if that was the case then our cars would come with them. I can't afford any sort of retrofit, but around $150 or so for a HID kit is no problem. Wish I had enough for both.

Anything above 5-6k is extremely blinding to other drivers around you.

10k is just stupid! I know that HID kits are illegal also. But I mean 10k looks stupid and is just asking for it IMO. You havent had issues from what you have said. But people with crazy colored lights give me the "Hey look at me Im cool cause I have stupid colored lights" impression. One its unsafe and distracts other drivers and the light output is not very good despite what you might think. 3k-5k is the best lumen range! I had HID's in my tC but I purposly aimed them low knowing I didnt want to blind other drivers and I didnt wanna be that ___hat. Whatever floats your boat dude. But with all the HID issues I would think its crap HID's or your have electrical issues with your stock harnesses.

either you aren't installing them right or you have some kind of damage to your headlight harness that is causing the problem. I have had my 3bspec kit for over 3 years now and I haven't even had a flicker. or you could have the worst luck when it comes to hids. but yea, 10k is retarded ugly. lol

If you were in my area, I would've lent you my DDMtuning kit, just so you can see the reliability and quality. I know you have your preferences, but that's just my $0.02

First, $150 for HID PNP kit is just plain stupid. $50 PNP kit on ebay + $150 for a pair of OEM TSX projectors = WIN.

Yes that's right, $50 more gives you OEM projectors with a PNP D2S kit.

For the other poster who said they bought new 08+ headlights and think their current 05-07 HID kit is gonna work.... it's NOT going to work.

Stay OEM on the projectors, but use w/e you want for the ballasts / bulbs combo and you'll be better off. A SUPER bonus if you go all out OEM with ballasts, projectors, AND bulbs.

It isn't that they wont light up the road, but it's more of an efficiency issue. 4300-5k is the maximium output temperature for brightness/visibility . Beyond that, you start to lose light output.

A 15k would "technically" light up the road, it just wouldn't do a good job at it.

Sorry for the issues OP =[. We tried our best to find out what was going on and couldn't replicate the same issue on our end. Your satisfaction is very important to us and am sorry we couldn't get things to work out.

ok I figured out my issue. Even with my cheap ___ kits they work every time now. They have no issue working every single time I get in my car now. Dielectric grease on EVERY plug and lots of it! I didn't change anything else and now I have no issue on my car or my wife's car.

Maybe it will fix your issue as well.
