Default ew....

noone told me removing the "scion" emblem in the back would leave two holes and a triangle-ish indenture, lol. looks worse than with the emblem on. really wanted 100% badge-less, but i think i'll have to settle with that scion emblem.

but what are some things you guys have done with it? i've seen a lot of people paint it black. looks a bit better than normal i guess, but my tc's blue and i think it looks a bit off like that. i was thinkin maybe just trying to paint "scion" a silver so it sort of blends in a bit. any other ideas?

You should have searched before doing that.

Painting it black would look awesome on any color tc.

lol i did search a bit but all i found were some old threads explaining how to do it, and a few others that just had people telling the threadstarter to search. :p but i didn't really care too much cause it's not like it's hard to put it back on.

if nothing else i'll probably just do black, but i thought i'd check if anyone came up with something else to try.

This topic has been covered over and over, please search. You can either paint it, replace it with a toyota emblem, or shave the garnish. Choose one.

Judging from the part number, that should fit.

lol, thanks man.

although i was looking through some pics... badgless and filled is definitely where i want to go. not sure if i'd be up to do it myself though--i'm not too confident doing body work tbh, although i guess it wouldn't be that hard. i was trying to search a bit again, and found some threads with links to websites that actually sold badgless garnishes. those websites don't work now, but does anyone know a place now that sells them? or are there still any members here that would make one for me?

The only place besides a body shop to do that is eBay. There's a company that sells a brand new piece that doesn't have the hole, so you don't have to worry about the bondo popping out. They sell it in regular plastic that you have to paint, or CF.
