here is a pic of the tips i have on my car now. i would like to know if i should get one big tip or is i should get two nice size ones. i think im losing HP with these small tips because when i get up to high speeds the tips start to make a sound like there is too much air trying to come out of a small opening.

if any one has any insite into what i should get please let me know.

 

I don't know that an exhaust tip can make that much of a difference in performance. That said, I think an oval would look cool.

 

Aeroexhaust makes true 2.5 to 3" exhaust tip as well as 3" to 4"(diesel) but they are about 70$ a piece...
nice looking car by the way.

 

i think you should get exhaust tips that match the shape of your bumer openings, like the acura tl(i think)

I can't really determine what exactly you're talking about. I can't even SEE your "tips". I'm not sure how you managed to get a "tip" that flows less than the actual exhaust piping itself or, for that matter, how you can hear the flow of your exhaust at "high speeds".


Did you see the SIZE of those bumper openings??!!! That would be ridiculous! That wouldn't be exhaust piping, it would be DUCTWORK!

Yeah, that first one is what I was thinking. Just have it tucked under the bumper so that it just peeks out a bit...sexy time!

 

i like the trd muffler that i have. i just dont like the sound that comes out of the tips when i get to high speeds.

Single tip wide oval one... but that's just my opinion

 

like i told you, just get a new exhaust

 

get the first one with dual tip you posted and get two of them
