Eyelids
How much does it cost to get eyelids for the front and rear lights? And what exactly happens when you're getting eyelids?
From pictures, it just looks like a white sticker is put inside the light...
Has anyone done the TYC rear tail lights with eyelids?

What level of tint do you have on your windshield? I had 18% all around, including the windshield, but I had the front and the windshield changed to 50% today. The LAPD were forever giving me a hard time. Btw, what part of LA are you in?
I have 50% all around (including the front window, LITERALLY, all my windows are tinted).
I'm Woodland Hills. I'm in the Valley basically.
18%...yeah that would give some hard time. 30% is a little better.
I stick with 50% because its just perfect for me. I also have the front window tinted so it makes it seem a little darker...

I know what you mean about the windshield making the rest look darker. With 18% on my windshield, the sides looked even darker than they really were. I have had 3 tickets for the window tint, a few tickets for other things, and many, many warnings about the windows. Btw, I am in West Hills right next to Woodland Hills. Pretty much all of my tickets were picked up on Ventura Blvd. Don't go any darker than 50% or you will have trouble. I found out the hard way.
I got them done in Van Nuys at a place called Sun Shield. Great place.
You're close by if you're just in West Hills. Where do you live exactly? I'm on Valley Circle and Victory.
Are you in college?

Valley Circle and Roscoe here. I used to go to Pierce College, then I transferred to DeVry on Roscoe to complete my degree. Unfortunately, they recently closed the campus and moved to the Sherman Oaks Galleria, so I find myself having to make that commute every day. The 101 is a traffic nightmare, but Ventura is crawling with cops. I just couldn't deal with the police attention anymore, especially when I am trying to hurry to get to class.
But yeah, what about you?

Thats interesting...haha I pass by Valley Circle and Roscoe all the time to go to school sometimes. I also take Roscoe to go to a place called Big Mo's Subs...good stuff.
I go to Moorpark. I sometimes take Box Canyon down tot he 118, or I just take the 101N.
That's funny that they moved to the Galleria...I actually work right by there. I work on Ventura and Van Nuys (the store is on Ventura.) I am an ATT (Cingular) sales rep.
I make that commute every day too. Depending on the time, taking Ventura is sometimes a lot faster than the freeway.
What have you done to your car so far?

Interesting stuff. Big Mo's was where I got my lunch every day before DeVry moved. It is literally right across the street from the old campus.
Interesting that you like Box Canyon. A lot of people don't know that route, but I love it. Narrow and twisty, the best kind of road. You must have passed by Woolsey Canyon as you travel towards Box Canyon. Woolsey Canyon is where I lived, but I don't usually name the street because most people don't know where it is. You might not know this, but if you travel to the top of Woolsey Canyon then it goes down the other side into Simi Valley. The road is extremely narrow and technical, but well-paved and a lot of fun.

I used to work at Ameci Pizza on Vanowen and Platt, as a delivery driver. I saved up my funds from that job for a couple of years and then quit working to finish up my degree full-time.
As for car mods, I have a bunch but most of them are small and I usually end up forgetting some:
Injen CAI
Tint (18% back, 50% front and windshield)
Oznium third brake light, fully lit, red to match the tails
Figure badgeless grilles, gloss black
TRD lowering springs
TRD shocks/struts
TRD sway bar
TRD strut bar
Ground Fusion grounding kit
Honda S2000 antenna
Clear corners
9005 headlight bulb mod with Sylvania Silverstars
Clear turn signal bulbs, corner bulbs, parking lights
Numerous interior lighting mods
Dr Isotope radiator cooling plate
Badgeless rear garnish en-route

I'm thinking about lowering my car too...how much did the TRD whole set cost you? (lowering springs, shocks/struts/sway/strut)
Why did you go with the TRD lowering springs rather than some of the other ones in the market?

You ever order from Ameci's? I did deliveries there for a couple of years, so I know every street in town like the back of my hand.
Anyway, the TRD full package is seriously expensive if you get the parts and install from the dealer, but I didn't trust myself to do the install without screwing anything up. At least this way, the parts and labor are both fully covered for 30k miles on the parts. I mainly wanted to go with TRD so as not to affect the warranty, but the quality is great too.
