Not the overlay but the real eyelids, does anyone have a good pic of them on a tc? I am thinking about getting some but I just want to make sure it like as much as I think I will.

 

the only real eyelids ive seen is in CF and it doesnt look too bad either.. personally id rather spend 10 or 15 dollars on vinyl rather than 50+ dollars on eyelids.. but thats just me.

 

I know they make paintable ones but I just havent seen them in a picture, I just think the vinyl looks cheap

 

You can find some actual eyelids on eBay occasionally... but like ^^ said, it's probably better to just get overlays that are cheaper and ready to put on than the others you have to have painted (or get CF).

 

I found them on ebay but there are not pictures of them installed and I have seen the vinyl ones and I dont like it at all.

 

They make pretty good quality lids..

Haha. I just wanted to show him that you can't really tell if it's vinyl or not. I like them. They're Bat's most recent lid kit. It's called the tch1B kit. This one comes down to meet the hood whereas the first kit (tch1) didn't.

 

actually as soon as I saw them I could tell they were vinyl without a problem because of how thin they are. I am wanting to get something that has a 3d effect to it. Thats why in my first post I said "Not the overlay but the real eyelids" If you like them more power to you but trying to change my mind is pointless.

 

I'll put my 2 cents in then shut up. With Vinyl, it will come flush with the hood and fenders. The thing I dont like about the fiberglass ones is that they sit higher then the hood and fenders because of thickness. Plus they cost alot more, them and you have to paint them. Just me 2 cents. I'll shut up now.

Bat, do you have the eyelids above in a FM color?

 

FM those are the hardest ones to match to color!!
i tried them from another company didnt come out..still waiting on bat to send me my free set ;) to try out ahhaha

 

I have a pretty good match for FM. In fact, I've sold quite a few of my Overlays in this finsih with no issues whatsoever from my customers .

Carbon fiber eyelids can be found at showstoppersusa.com, but they're around $70 I believe and they'd need to be painted.

 

if I am gonna get the cf ones I am not going to paint them. I have found them for sale many places but I am trying to find a pic of them installed before i buy them.

we have been selling these on scionlife for a bit now the tc's havent sold in cf but the xB's have gone like hotcakes
