I saw a brand new flint mica tC today with the pedestal spoiler and personally i think it does not look good on the tC. this of course is only my personal opinion. i think the pedestal spoiler is too large, and chunky attached to the nice sleek lines of the tC.

what looks so sweet is the tC with the low profile lip spoiler along with the s2000 antenna. the stock tC antenna is hideous and along with the pedestal spoiler attached to the car makes the car look so stupid.

anyone agree with me?

I agree that this newer spoiler doesn't quite fit with the original concept. I know people will be offended but I think it is boardering on the rice effect. It is a shame they chose to put it on the limited edition model. I think the body lines of the tC are very clean and this makes it more difficult to select the correct wing. I have seen a newer wing that elongates the rear of the car and it's not too tall; that is the look I am leaning towards. I forget what the wings name is but it was recently added to this site.

 

Well opinions are like buttholes evryones got them. My opinion is that the spoiler fits the car really well. I like it because its not a huge bolt on shopping cart handle like some people put on there cars so its not too ricey. The lip spoiler is hardley even noticeable and cost 385 dollars! the lip spoiler is worthless. I think tC look boring without a spoiler. Then again thats just my opinion.

 

spoilers are just for looks anyway. ;)

 

i like the spoiler. and bout the antenna, it's really not that bad. S2k makes it look way cleaner but jus be glad the tc didnt come with 3 ft long aluminum antenna's like the celicas did

 

Personally i think that the lip spoiler is one big why bother. It is practically unnoticible from more then 20 feet away and is way to expensive. I also think that without a spoiler the tc looks too boring. It helps to balance out the long hood and short trunk.

 

I think the lip spoiler gives the tC a more exotic look..... lol. The pedestral Spoiler is just ......ugly.

 

well i like the pedistal spoiler,

and lip one is okay, but it is just too subtle and not worth the price. that one TRF or what ever it is called now is pretty cool but I wish they kept the space for the brake light cut out and it is pretty heavy.

hmm...i like my pedestal, and i also like tc's without a spoiler. i think they look cleaner without but i also like the pedestal so idk. dont really care for the lip spoiler tho. lol, and i think im the only person here who likes the factory antenna, haha.

 

i like my pediastal spoiler too. im not against the lip spoiler but i think they are to much for something you can barely see.
and no you arent the only one with your factory antenna.
i just havent gotten around to getting an s2k yet!

 

if you want a wing that you want people to see.. buy a shopping cart wing...

i am wingless.. i love it.. and i also like the lip.. its subtle, and most importantly it flows..

 

Carbon Fiber Lip> Factory Lip > Factory Pedestal

 

i love my pedestal spoiler and it adds 35 hp to my tC.

I like the lip spoiler better. Between the two I'd say less is more.

 

My .02: I have the pedestal and love it. I first saw the car without it and thought that the rear end just..."needed something." I didn't like the lip because it was too subtle and REALLY not worth the in money...IMO. I like the clean look of the car with nothing on it, but the pedestal won me over...and the 35 hp! HA
