Default faded clear coat

So my car only has 22,000 miles on it. But there is a spot on the bottom of the door that seems a little faded. My leg rubs against it every time I get in and out of the car. Any recommendations on how to get the shine back?

Do you think that would be too harsh?

This is on the outside of the car right? Because when you say your leg rubs it I think of the inside.

Are you talking about on your side skirt?

A picture would really help out in this case.

It depends on if it is scratched up of if it is faded. I don't want to put you onto the wrong product or way of repairing it.

I had to re-clear a couple panels the other day. If you want I'll post pictures.

Wet sanded down, then applied a full car plastic wrap over the whole car...except the area I had to clear.

3 hours later, removed the plastic wrap and lightly buffed the clear coated area.

While I was waiting for the clear coat to dry I painted aryan13's FG badgeless garnish. Took about 20 minutes to prep, primer, paint, and clear. Perfect finish...no need to wet sand or buff.

^Not going through with the headlights anymore. When I get them...I'm planning on selling them. But knowing people here on SL, my top price will be $25.

No. I might go back to Anzo's I liked those better. Sure some sets have problems, but at least I can fix them.

$700 retrofit < Anzos?!

Although the price of the anzos is better for you wallet. But still, retrofts are so sexy.
