A few mods done and dusted
I posted these in the flint mica thread but not out here yet. Got the HKS exhaust done, and some flank LED's for the license plate lights.

6000K HID kit on the way for my lowbeams, and because of Hurricane Gustav my beutiful works will have to wait even longer for the time being, but I'm still going to get them one day :D
Might paint the stockies bronze... dunno yet.

Thanks Elijah and Yank.
Yeah Gustav came and messed up the roof on my house! I had a couple extra grand put away for my wheels but now I have to replace some wood and shingles, and that's not counting the 400 dollars in Gas I bought while the power was out for the dang generator...
You guys be safe for Ike, I hear it's headed right towards Corpus Christi now :nervous:

whats next for your tC? are all these shots with the 50mm lense?
Yeah the 50mm f1.8. I can't take this lens off my camera, it's so fun! That's my first shot at night with it, came out alright. I plan on doing a night time photoshoot with it soon.Definitely worth the 80 bucks. I want the 10-22mm but it's so expensive.
Future plans are some seats, Sparco or Recaro. Work VSXX's in gold with some Falkens. Then I guess I'll do some engine dress up, maybe one of those diversion panels. Just trying to keep everything clean.
That's pretty much it really, had the car for three months now and I feel I'm doing it right from the start. Still never got an alignment though hehe
Eventually I will get some B&G coilovers, when the Teins blow.

wouldn't mind having some coilovers but i already scrape ALL the time with a 2" drop. Memphis roads suck BADLY!
i don't see how u drive that low. wish i could.
U got nothing on camera equipment. ha ha
just my body and main lens was $3,000 ha ha and my fisheye was like 700. the 50mm is nice and cheap tho. great bang for the buck and a SUPER fast lens.

yea, ive been wanting the 50mm f1.8 but it wont AF with my D40. Im slowly getting the hang of AF with my kit lense just to practice and its not that hard as i thought it would be. I might make the jump after i master the kit lense.
oh heck yeah. i spent way more on just my camera body than most people spend on a set of wheels. ha ha
camera body $2,000
Canon 24-105 f4 L lens $1,000
Canon 15mm f2.8 fisheye lens $700
Lowepro camera bag $200
Manfrotto tripod $200
extra battery $40
polarizer $50
uv filter $30
and i can keep going. ha ha

i never thought of AF at night? I didnt think it would make a difference if i MF or it does it on its own? is it that big a difference?
at night it is harder for the AF to find something to focus on. like a crisp line or something. focusing even on a solid color wall can be hard for an AF lens. just get used to MF and quit being lazy ha ha trust me all the pros do it and WON"T use AF.
