i just painted them yesterday .. i bought paint from automotivetouchup.com and u can get ur paint code in a spray can .. it came out pretty good

Hm... I'm not sure if I like how they're angled straight like that towards the grille. Though they might look better painted. Glad to hear they fit well though... sometimes eBay stuff would worry me.

 

i like it .. i think it makes it look more aggresive .. yea they are made to be painted .. lol i dont think anyone wants 2 drive around wit primered eyelids

 

Haha... you might be surprised... I mean, plenty of people drive around with unpainted lots of things. So some unpainted eyelids would be a minimal thing comparatively.

I don't know about easier than vinyl... I've applied vinyl eyelids on two tCs and it's absolute cake. The PITA with these ones is getting them painted - though you could do it yourself. But these will probably last a bit longer and are generally a higher quality if done right.

But I still love my vinyl ones.

 

haha got in a crash and have to buy new ones ...
so i am contemplating it...I hate putting on vinyl I always get a tiny crease that no one can see BUT I CAN ...and I get paranoid

 

Look nice man, prolly look ALOT beter painted though..Im not sure what im doing with mine, either CF ones when I eventually get my CF hood, or BSP painted same as my car!!

i know that guy. he has a pretty tricked out altima. i emailed him and asked him for a GB also. and if he wanted to work on a few products with yours truly.

i just talked to the guy and he said if theres enough intrest hell start a group buy .. imo there the best lids out there right now i think vinyls looks cheese n crackers .. and the cf ones r hard 2 make lay down flat .. i just sold my cf eyelids
