Default fog light wiring as DRL's

i want to have my fog lights on anytime i have the car in run, i saw the mod for rewiring them with the parking lights, and saw someone posted a way to wire them the way i want, but i was confused as to what wire IT WAS I was taPPing INto. i just don't want to tap into anything if i don't know what that circuit does. thanks.

you're just tapping into a relay. so it's telling the fog lights to turn on after X goes on or off. PM eltaco for details. ive been running them with my running lights for over a year and 0 problems.

yeah, my fog lights are ALWAYS on. they turn off when u turn the car off and open the door just like the headlights. but instead of turning them on with the heads, they turn on with the parking lights....looks great together

yeah thats how i have them now, on with the parking lights, but my GPS head unit goes into night mode with the parking lights, and i can't see my headunit. so i want them to turn on and off with the car, just as they do when they're wired to the parking lights.

i know theres definitly a way to be able to turn them on independently, but i dont know about them turning off when u open ur door if u wire them that way. the only reason the heads turn off is because of the relay, which is what the fogs are hooked up to. take them off the relay and they wont turn off with the open door.....if that makes any sense

if your using a relay as im prettty sure you are..then run a 12v wire like the ACC ignition wire or even the cig lighter wire for the relay..they are on when the key is in but off otherwise..
