I looking for a website ppl have used and is reliable. I looking to get Fog light for my 08 tc. Not the ones like the OEM, but the ones that fit into the air vents on the side of the car.

 

Vrd makes em. www.vertexracing.com. but the same foglight is on ebay for half the price. APT Auto on ebay

I have the APT fogs too..they're exactly the same as the VRD, same box even, just a different name. and half the price. they fit great and work amazing.

They might work OK for now. But I won't ever buy generic imported knockoff stuff. This is the kind of stuff that gets labeled as JDM on eBay and I regard as junk.

 

Well I believe atleast 30+ scionlife members have actually ordered from apt and have yet to have a problem including me. And some have compared it to the exact one that VRD sells and say that they are exactly the same. I am not promoting that they are VRD fogs, but I think they are great quality fogs for your so called "imported knockoff"

 

makes me miss my fogs lights cause my hid's were blinding lol. o well, you'll like it with the hid's

 

Im actually going to wire it independently from the headlights so they dont be on all every time i turn dem on. Now im looking for some good HIDs for them. Im looking at Mobile HID but not sure which ones to get.

 

That's fine. I hope they do keep working. I'm just a little more picky about the things I'll put on my car. Mainly avoiding shady imported eBay stuff.

idk if its still up but at the time i was buying mine, he actually had a copy of the invoice showing VRD's giant order and payment to him as one of the pics on ebay.

I don't think anyone has had a single problem with the VRD/APT fogs, except for the horrible glare of course. They make 100x more sense than the OEM fogs and look 100x better than those hideous other eBay fogs.

 

ya i just got mine in today (APT ones), you'll need to buy a switch tho. i assume i can get one via ozium? and other than that do i need anything else?

why would u need to buy a switch?
when i got mine it came with all wiring harnesses and switches.

i wouldn't exactly call the kit a "knockoff" kit though. "knockoff" says cheaper and lower quality but the APT is the EXACT same light
