I have a front and rear lip that I want to install. I wanted to know what people use to install them a nut and bolt or just a screw rIght into the bumper along with double sided tape

 

what lip is it...do you know? i have the rs1 full lip kit from racing solution...i used double sided tape where it came in contact with the bumper and then put a couple of screws on each side in the wheel wells. hope that helps

 

It's the eBay knock off so I would do what you did the screws just went into the oem bumper there not loose or anything figured I need a nut or something to keep it tight

 

yea just right into the bumper...i just used some self tapping screws. year and a half still going strong and tight

 

3m double sided adhesive tape and 2 screws in left and in right wheel wells. might need another person to help to make it easier

 

Kool do you thnk u should paint the front lip or keep it black I got a waveline pearl tc

 

paint it so it will match the car first of all and the center part of the bumper as i can see you have black won't go with it so if it's plastidip you would have to remove it.

 

definately paint it to match...it does come black but its not a shiny black so it will look super out of palce if you just leave it

 

Mine shines after I applied back to black to it looks nice

 

That looks really out of place considering nothing else on the car is that type of black.

 

Idk doesn't in person lol my widows are dark tails are night shaded and blinkers on mirror headlights are blked out wheels will be blk as well

 

i also vote you paint it but its your car so all i have is an opinion lol

i just got mine in a few days ago im leaving mine black BUT black looks ok on mine AND i put like 9 layers of clear coat on it and that Bch SHINES with great reflection when i put it on ill post a pic

 

i will never understand why people dont paint their lip/body kits...it literally cost me $38 to have my front lip painted and my car is already black!

 

Yea cuz black spray paint is cheap

 

yea bc i would ever spray paint my lip...try a professional paint and body shop who also painted my rear lip for the same price and side skirts for $80

 

Cuz black spray paint is cheap just put gloss on it an charge them a bit. Even professionals know loop holes

 

ok bro whatever you wanna think...it just looks cheap and lazy to have unpainted lips

 

I would tellhim to get it painted just cuz nothing else on the car is black it sticks out bad
