I have a 07 TC with factory ground effects kit,,I had a little fender bender where my front bumper got badly damaged, my body guy is ordering me a new bumper and lip,my question is will the lip fit properly on the original oem bumper?Or does the original bumper come modified when you buy it already installed on your car new?When I look at these photos below of a plain bumper and my original set up with the lip it doesn't look as if you can just attach the lip to a plain bumper,does anybody know or have had this problem before?

 

Slots have to be cut in the bumper for the tabs to attach the lip. Check out the install instructions here:
