Front bumper/scratches
Hey everyone, bought an 09 tC last saturday, love the car hate the dealer. They covered up a massive amount of scratches on the back end right where the trunk lever is as well as the front bumper has no clear coat on the passenger half. Probably from an accident they failed to disclose.
My question is, is there a way to fix both of these issues myself. Can I just clear coat the rest of the bumper or will it need replaced? And the scratches can I fill them in with the proper paint choice and clear coat them as well?
It looks as though it was the original bumper but it was spray painted to cover something. What do you guys think?

The scratches they must have had done something, they weren't noticeable until I wiped off the back end today, some dirt got in it and made them stand out. The bumper, well I just didnt look that low on the car. If I would have seen that I would have raised hell.
Try this. I've used it before for scuff marks. Its like $10 and you can get it at Autozone, Dsicount, Sears, etc. Its a clearcoat and scuff mark remover. Just remember that its not paint. If your scratch has damage to the paint or catches your finger nail when you rub it....it won't help. I would defiantly buy it and see what it does before trying a a body shop(expensive). Hopefully it helps. Just rub it on, let it sit for a few minutes and buff it off with a towel.
