Default Front Grill Scion Emblem

I've seen a lot of rear emblem removal and front grill removal, but I couldn't find anything on the front emblem on the front upper grill. Does it come out of the grill? It looks like the Scion emblem is pressed in somehow. Does it come off the same way as the rear, with heat?

I'm asking because I want to replace it with a white one. Rather than painting it, I have a white replacement so I can swap back in case I don't like it.

it takes a little finesse... but it can come out if you work the fishing line behind it to break it free from the adhesive.

I used a very thin flat head screw driver. Also use some blue tape so you don't scratch anything.

the front grill is molded exactly like the emblem so when u take it off it will have the scion outline left on it.

It sounds like everyone is saying it's stuck on there with adhesive like the rear one (the emblem stuck into the mold, and not actually molded into the grill as one piece that can't come out); that was my main question. At least that's what I think I'm reading in the replies. If that's the case, it should work fine. May have to sand down the emblem itself if it doesn't fit perfectly; guess I'll see.

Thanks.

The front one is so much easier to remove then the rear one. I replaced mines with toyota emblems.
