expanding my repertoire of led swaps and projects, me and my friend have come up with the best way to get even brightness for a full 3rd brake light...

using the same 6 led array that's stock and paralleling them together.

(NOTE: Ed did all the work/labor.. i'm giving him credit for that.. i was the one that found where the parts were and it was my idea)

How did you manage to get 3 of those? Junk yards?

 

we found the manufacturer.. or more say.. I did..

Ed actually did all the labor... I uhh.... supervised him though?

well... i get a small credit for finding it.... Ed went through with making the prototype.. so he get's all of the credit there.

hmm... if so.... we'll need a 16 order min. before it'll be worth the investment... and business will have to be conducted elsewhere.. as neither of us are sponsors.
if interest is good.. we'll see about changing that.

a friend of mine... first one to ever expand the 3rd brake light to my knowledge... but his old diy is long buried and the design wasn't great.

if things go well.. me and group of friends will group together and form a business doing led projects including swapping and various projects/installs such as this... be on the lookout for a new sponsor in the future.
