so im ordering hids tonight, and i want some opinions on whether i should get the 6000k or 5000k. i have an 06 rs2 tc so obviously its blitz blue micah and i dont know if the 6000k would be too blue for and already blue car.

If anyone has any pics of 6000k on a blitz blue, post them! it would be greatly appreciated, as well as pics with 5000k! hurry and post!

imo 5k for better light output

 

there are SO many thread's on this man. 6000K isn't very blue. 5000K has more output, 4300K is the BEST output. it's what you see on BMW's Lexus etc. I have 6000K in my 09' and it's white with a bit of blue. It look's nice. Anything over 6000K you're asking for cop trouble, and blindness in crappy weather.

i think im gonna just go right in between with the 5000k, besides, the site im ordering from only offers 3,5,6,8,10, and 12k. no 4300.

no higher then 6k.......i have 5k might even go down to 4300k..really doesnt matter the color of the car safety comes first if debating 5k or 6k......go with 5k

 

i have 6k and love them. they're not really blue at all. if your not gunna get 6k then get 5k for sure

 

6000 not really blue at all,hard to see in the rain at night though.......5000s are better to see at night in the rain.......either one will work great.....unless you are putting in non projector housings as you will get lots of glare and ____ed off people coming at you down the road.....

 

well, i dont have the money for projectors, and if im going to be putting that much money down on a part, it will be for performance and as far as people not liking my glare, whatevs lol

lol they arent that magical, it is just close. They are 08 and newer projectors

 

o, just sayin cuz ive seen pics of the tc with projectors projected on a wall, and it just looks like a solid wall of hid wonder with a nice cutoff like that. but in that pic the light is somewhat concentrated directly in front of the headlights. the closeness would explain that i suppose

 

they are defiantly nice compared to hids in the older headlights. I was just saying compared to like oem acura and stuff they arent that good.
