So i was board at home today doing nothing but watching movies and doing some reading here on SL on a few threads. Came across the idea of adding a homeade lip from weather stripping out of Home Depot to my GFX lip. My lip is already pretty beat up from racing so i decided what the heck. Now i know alot of you guys thing this mod is wack and some actually like it but i thought id post up what i did incase someone else is intrested in doing it to their GFX front end. I personally like it. It looks way better in person plus it makes your car look way lower. Let me know what you think of the mod even though i know most are probably going to flame on how ricey this mod is or something like that.

Really? My bad. I know people have done it but havent seen anyone do it with the GFX. Guess i missed it otherwise i wouldnt have made a new thread for it.

 

Has been done, it's all good though. I had a friend do the HD lip but not on the GFX front though, he took that off and put on a front lip off a Volvo, then finally went with an eBay lip.

well i already expected some not liking it but i think it looks pretty good. looks alot better in person. Didnt get around to getting another shot today but ill definently post some better pics when i get a chance.

 

i like it bro, makes the car look lower and it looks like a great add-on, was thinkin about doin it to my rs1 lip

 

^^ if you really like it then give it a shot. You can always go back if you decide you dont like it. I personally love it.

On a side note. New pics are up. These turned out much better than the night pics i had up before so enjoy.

did you just use 3m tape?

 

^^ No. its double sided taped along with 10 screws to make sure it doesnt come off if i happen to scrape it. I shouldnt scrape it though. Im use to driving low so no worries there.
