Ok. So I was cruising ebay and came across a kit that looks exactly like the Kaminari kit. The seller uses KGS Engineering as their name and is selling the kit for 400 with shipping. Now obviously this threw up a red flag since most places sell the kit for 1000-1200 plus shipping. Just wondering if anyone has bought this or what. The seller doesnt have all tha tmuch feedback which makes me want to stay away but really I could care less if its the "real" deal as long as it fits and looks good. anwyay just wanted to see what you guys think...

hmm... the car in those pictures look a lot like Nick06tC's car before his 2 tone paint job. not 100% sure about that but i remember reading about this one website taking his pics and using them without his permission. if that is in fact Nick06tC's car, i believe he has the actual kaminari kit so those pics really wouldnt show how the fitment and quality on the ones they are trying to sell.

 

AHHH. This crap ____es me off. Yup, they are pictures of my car THAT I TOOK.
And like MSG tC said, I have the real kit. Trust me, you do not want to go with a cheap knock off. The real kit is urethane. And Kaminari has purchased different knock offs and doen comparisions on their site. This knock off kit is paper thin and you can see light through it!!!

Please do not purchase from them, they are a fraud. If they are willing to steal pics and a design, are they willing to steal your money?????

That happened to my friends gti, so kid on youtube used it in his video and said it was his car when you could see my friend in the driver seat

 

I sent him a mean email and reported him to ebay. hahah.

 

wasnt kaminari taking ppl to court or some legal action for ppl with fraudulent kits?

 

so i called the # and told them you guys have a tc K-DRIFTER BODY KIT for sell on ebay, they asked me for the item # and I told them, there like yes, this is the kaminari replica kit, I'm like is this the actual kit? they say yes. I say how is that possible? this is my friends car and he has a real kaminari kit, where did you guys get the pics from? he said our vendors gets the pics, I'm like who's your vendor and he transfers me to someone else and nobody picks up HAHA

 

got hung up on twice :D

 

I ordered them a couple dozen pizzas. I hope it goes through ok.

I googled their number and found they are in Ontario CA. Man, it's a slow day at work...

You guys might want to also start harrassing Andy's Auto Sport. it looks like the same car on the ebay page has made it to Andysautosport.com ... Except this time the kit is listed as a Vison Auto Type K body kit selling for 758

its fake...its fiberglass...they even show you on kaminari's site, how the thickness isnt consitent. fiberglass body kits IMO suck cuz if you hit something your screwed...atleast with urethane you still stand some chance

 

But fiberglass is easy to repair -- U break a urethane bumper your in big doo doo

I have had a couple websites post pics of my car for sales purposes. Fought it for awhile but then just said F-it
