Default good bulbs with cheap ballasts?

So one of the bulbs I just got from HIDXTRA burnt out after only a month's use. Should I even bother going through on the warranty process or just buy some nicer bulbs? at that, is it worth using nice bulbs with cheap ballasts?

just some questions to aim me in what to do next.

i've actually been going through sets after sets... once this set burns out, i think im gonna go with mobileHID because my friend is using it and i have heard no problems so far... its a little spendy but if it keeps from burning out, i'd rather pay the little extra to save me some trouble

I too bought from HIDExtra. My passenger side flickered out and so I ordered new bulbs. I hate the OE bulbs lol. Anyway, once I get my finances in order I may order a different brand. Hell I might even go for McCullochs or whatever they're called lol. The troubleshooting procedure coupled with the warranty process seems to tedious for me as I have work and school constantly. I've had the kit for about 3-5 months I believe. Not bashing their business in anyway BTW, a lot of folks have bought from here and only a handful of people have had issues.

yeah, not bashing HIDXTRA either, it was a great deal and a really easy ordering process, im just concerned whether or not the ballasts are ok to use with nicer bulbs? i'm definitely getting a new bulb from HIDXTRA, its just a question of what to do next time...
