I'm looking for a site where i can get some good overlays...can anyone help me out??

What kind of overlays do you want? Solid paintable ones? Vinyls? Carbon Fiber? These are the main ones.

I'd say Randode or Blue Batmobile for vinyls. Mazda6Stuff for the paintable and I think Racing Solutions or something like that has the CF.

 

DO NOT buy Mazda6Stuff's "Paintable" eyelids. No body shop will paint them, and if you have them painted through Mazda6Stuff, the paint will crack when you put them on.

I would like to get some paintable eyelids, if mazda6stuff's eyelids arent the greatest, are there any other vendors out there that sell them?

how is the light output from your headlights after you installed those overlays?

It's not that they aren't the greatest, they aren't true headlight eyelids. True eyelids are rigid, which allows them to be painted without cracking.

I ended up getting a pair of CF eyelids that I'm going to have painted. They're crap, as far as Carbon Fiber parts go; there are plenty of defects in the weave and the resin has runs and drips in it. I have quite a bit of sanding to do.

But hey, what did I expect for 90.00?

I should have known I'd get ripped off!

 

Hahah with 20% overlays, light out put is...not that great

Bat's prolly just been a little busy. I really did like his overlays, I just suck at putting them on! I ended up trying to get some rigid ones painted, but may end up with bat again for the eyelids.

BTW the smoked headlights look awesome on Super White.
