I went with 3BSpecialities 4300K, been on for 2 months with no problems. I went with the old style digital and they work great.

im debating if i should get some analog or digital ballasts for my future HIDs. oh and would anyone recommend 55w over 33w or 33w over 55w ballasts? i plan on getting 6000K but im not sure which ballasts is right for me or is better.

35W are reliable.
55W are reliable.
70W - not sure yet, but we're testing them.

Digital kits tend to be more reliable than analog kits over time.
they don't strike the bulb as hard at startup.
anyone can offer cheap, but reliable (as with this forums very very many happy customers with our products) is hard to do

^ Don't forget. 55w is brighter than 35w. By 30% I think.

so would that mean the colors would wash out a bit then? like for example if i wanted a 6000K HID kit with 55w ballasts, then wouldnt it make the color go down and look more like 5000K?

Do HIDs look okay using 05-07 headlights or would it be recommended to get the newer headlights for the projectors?

a lot of people do it and the only thing bad about it is the fact it dosnt have a cutoff. if you aim them right then you should be okay so that you can still have distance to see without blinding oncoming traffic.

I got 6000k 35w Digital Kit from Umnitza and I Love it.
I was going to get Mobile HID's, but Clif was pretty Unreasonable, and isn't going to Sell the Digital Kits any longer, and wouldn't Lower the Price on them from $225, so I Ordered these. Customer Service is Excellent, e-Mailed me throughout the Night when I needed help.

What makes your ballasts digital?
There are no Microprocessors in HID ballasts. Just because it has a digital control circuit does not mean it has a processor of any kind or size inside. You still need the big inductors and capacitors to for it to be a ballast, which in my mind still makes it a magnetic ballast.
Does that mean I can put anything digital into the ballast that really doesn't do anything to it and call it a digital ballast?
Please explain. I'll be glad to hear a well-explained answer.
