Angry got hit... sucks

i know this happens to every one but i would just like to keep a car nice with no problems for atleast a year or however longer i can... i was 9 months in and this happened

so i was driving and taking my friend to another parking lot at school because he didnt want to walk. so as i am behind my friends car and some random kids car perpendicular to it and my friend says by and made a funny joke and is about to get out and then i look over and this jeep is going straight for my car and i tried yelling and honking and just smashes the driver side quarter panel. and he says... you werent there last time i checked my mirrors. and to make things funnier after we enchange info he says, you couldnt just drive off when you saw me back up towards you...ahahaha

thanks for you time thats all...

one of the most expensive panels to replace on a tC, and im not sure of it, but don't most insurance companies not cover parking lot accidents?

Agreed on the worst location to get damaged. A new rear quarter and respray. My 07 Spec was in the shop for almost 2 weeks, but had more damage. Make sure to note the gap above the tailight(the upper corner torwards the hatch), I refused my car until they got the gap right. Yes it was maybe off a hair(he was surprised I noticed it out of OEM tolerance) but I know my car and that should have been taken care of BEFORE paint, not when I'm called to pick it up.

An accident is an accident. Doesn't matter if you ran into your own house that is insured through the same company. You just pay your deductible if at fault (depending on state). Sorry your car got mashed up. Just make sure to beat up the rental nice a good to feel better about your car Maybe even pay that jeep a visit...

In VA you just cant be issued a ticket in a private parking lot. Insurance should still take care of it though

They will cover it, it is defiantly going to cost more than your premium so I would go through your insurance or his insurance.

sorry to hear about the accident. so a jeep backed into you eh? that's the only thing that sucks about most people driving trucks or suvs, all they do is look straight ahead, but not down.

yeah... that is true if it was a lifted truck it probably would have just ran the entire back end over haha. another thing that sucks is your look at their suv or truck and nothing happens to it...
