Ok this is my first official post on this site. I am in no means new to forums. But any way. So I got my wife a carbon fiber (painted) grille as a present for xmas. Now realizing that I only got the upper grill, it would look silly to put it on the car with the lower OEM grill having a honeycomb pattern. I have looked everywhere that I think is everywhere. Has anyone else had this problem or no where I could possibly buy a lower middle grill to match the top one? feel free to post here or pm.

I don't think that company made a "cf" lower grill, probably best off painting it black to match the oem lower. Or just use it how it is.

 

it only has a the fake cf for the top only, plus i think that grille has bad fitment also, maybe if u have the other 05-07 lower tC grille it looks kinda better matching imo.. but no you wont find anything with that fake cf look on a grille, and remember its grille* not grill ur not going to throw a hamburger on it right?

 

They don't make a matching bottom grille piece for this grille. If you want matching, its best to go with VRD.

 

There's one of these guys in every forum. Haven't even tried installing yet. If anyone finds more info lmk

All this is true no idea why you took offense to it. The Ebay fake carbon fiber grilles don't seem to gave a matching bottom and everyone that has one have mentioned the bad fitment and have needed to trim from certain areas. For a matching grille set either go FIG grilles or VRD like the other member mentioned.

all kidding aside...i have this grille in black. its fitment is "alright" and that's after you trim the hell out of it. without trimming it it wont even pop in at all. just a heads up man! and it would look fine with the two different patterns i think, but yea id get a 08 oem bottom if your really concerned. or trash the cf one and just get a set of vrds.

Lol I don't know it was posted in another forum don't remember which one. Also forgot to mention. Even after trimming it still pops out allllll the time, like halfway. I'm savin up for fig grilles personally so I can drill and zip tie them in and bypass the pain in the ___ clips!
