Default grill removal???

Hey I was wanting to make a custom grill and i can't seem to get the stocker off. I took off about 5 small self-tapping screws, but it still wouldn't drop out. It's all plastic, so I didn't want to break anything by just wrenching on it. Does anyone here now how to pull it out? Thanks in advance. -BrianH

the small screws will only let you take off the chrome trim. the black grilles, along with the chrome, pops off if you push from the inside. just some clips holding them in place

Stop posting those grillcraft instructions...they are horrible and make the job about 10000 times harder than it needs to be. Push on the grill form the outside and release the clips form the inside. Done in 30 seconds.

If you go check out my gallery, the grille I put on my car is one that I got off of ebay. it goes on over your existing grille with a few metal "twist-ties" its very secure and I recomend it to anyone whos looking for a simple install. just go into galleries and type in grille. and if you want to find it on ebay (which gives a better picture of it) simply type in scion tc grille and it should come up. it looks like mesh and...well anyway I'm sure you'll find it. good luck with your mods everyone!!!
